Hello from WA state!
I just LOVE my new Volvo S60, his name is Desmond James, the newest addition to Scotland Yard following in the footsteps of Bond, James, Bond who truly represents the personality of such a fine auto. Tuxedo clad, classy, men want to be like him, women want to be with him. Of course the only REAL James Bond in my book is Sean Connery. Ahh, shudder shudder. :D. Alas, there just weren`t any Swedish names that would fit, sorry. It`s just coincidental that James is also the name of Mr. Blunt and the Marine Major who suggested the name Desmond (as he outfitted James Bond with all the gadgets and things). Of course, when saying the name it`s said, "Desmond (pause for effect) James". Mind you, his name is rarely spoken but all cars HAVE to have names!
But enough about the name. It`s a great car! Solid build, solid ride. The heated seats are just FABulous as it`s much much colder here as compared to Okinawa. The GPS is wonderful when I venture to `mainland" WA.
I have an Aunt in MA who still has a Volvo - I want to say a 960? She`s had it for years as I plan on doing the same.

Sorry I did not contact you yesterday, I got busy at work... my wife really loves the car and we had a great experience at Tom Wood Volvo and of course the military car sales. I would be glad to complete the survey.
So far we have had great experience, I will ask my wife about taking her picture. My daughters are the most excited due to the entertainment system... they are really looking forward to watching movies on a road trip.

I just wanted to let you know that I took delivery of my car yesterday afternoon...and I love it! It is beautiful! All of the salesmen at the local Volvo dealer were very excited too as they had not yet seen a 2012 with the platinum package. I think they had just as much fun testing out all of the extra features as I did. Everything went very smoothly. All the paperwork was in order, so even the tax office and DMV were very easy to navigate. Thank you very much for all of your help throughout this process.

We love our new car! It turned out even better than I had imagined, which is wonderful. I was really nervous about the left hand drive at first, but it is so easy to drive and I felt comfortable immediately. Our experience with Volvo has been great as well, the teams in Okinawa and Alconbury were exceptionally courteous and easy to work with, they made the whole process easy. It was probably more stressful on your end than ours, since you had to work around all of our delays! But everyone has been very patient and accommodating, I couldn`t really have asked for better service. I have nothing but positive feedback for everyone that we have worked with at Volvo, they have been wonderful. Thank you as well, Lisa, you have also been a great help during this process, and you have always spelled everything out for us and made it very easy to go step by step.
